So I begin my adventure.
After contacting one of the many studios for documentation and a view of what was in the art, I was in a position to create a summary of all the refinements of San Martin, my goal in composing and I must say it was a bellicose experience.
Today, my San Martino for him is the fantastic cathedral of Pietrasanta.
I enjoyed the greatest emotion of my artistic journey.
Ringrazio tutte the person who contributed to this event.
It is a special grace to the Saint who allowed me to create.”
Martin of Tours, in Latin Martinus, was a Christian bishop of the 4th century. Among the first non-martyr saints proclaimed by the Catholic Church, there are more than 900 churches in Italy dedicated to him.
Legend has it that Martin of Tours – who lived in the 4th century AD. in France – while still a Roman soldier, he cut his coat in two to share with a beggar on a harsh autumn day. Christ appeared to him in a dream, returning the part of the cloak that he had given to the cold and needy man, and as a reward he brought about a pleasant period of mild weather from the beginning of winter. From that day on, this period was called the summer of San Martino.
Saint Martin is commemorated on November 11, although it is not the date of his death, but that of his burial.
