I have always felt a kind of calling towards art, but being the son of farmers, I did not immediately have the opportunity to pursue my passion. My introduction to the world of art came through a man who was very important to me. Next to my father’s farm lived Carlo Oreste Strocco, a retired professor from Turin: he guided my artistic training for 7 years, revealing to me the secrets of drawing first, and then of colors.
