This privacy notice is provided by Eugenio Riotto, (hereinafter referred to as the Controller) owner of the website www.eugenioriotto.it (hereinafter referred to as the Site) with regard to the processing of personal data of those who consult it. The notice is made pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27.04.2016 (hereinafter GDPR) and as provided by the Privacy Code Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018. The notice is accessible from the secondary menu in the footer of the website www.eugenioriotto.it.

The notice is provided only for the website www.eugenioriotto.it and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links therein inserted and managed by third parties, and therefore, the Controller will not be held responsible for the processing of data collected through access to such third-party sites.

The purpose of this notice is to provide information on the management methods of the site and the data that data controllers must provide in accordance with current legislation and may be modified if there are legislative changes.

This site is reserved, even only for browsing, for subjects who have reached at least sixteen years of age, as provided for in Article 8, paragraph 1 of the GDPR and Article 2 quinquies of Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018. Minors under the age of sixteen, but who have reached the age of fourteen, may consult the site by legitimizing consent through the consent of parents or those who take their place.

DATA CONTROLLER

The data controller is Eugenio Riotto, hereinafter referred to as the Controller, owner of the website www.eugenioriotto.it

The processing takes place at the registered office of Eugenio Riotto and takes place both manually and, mainly, electronically for the sole purposes of processing and in such a way as to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality, and security of the data collected, as provided by current legislation.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING AND METHODS

The data of the subjects browsing the Site or registering through forms on the same will be processed lawfully and used exclusively for the purposes indicated in this notice, pursuant to Article 6 of the GDPR.

The data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Site navigation, in relation to the possibility of detecting user data necessary for technical purposes and for a deeper understanding of the activities of the controller and the controller’s events and initiatives;
  • Responses to requests for information or insights received through the completion of contact forms or otherwise present on the site, also with reference to requests for authentication;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

The provision of the user’s personal data for the above purposes is optional but necessary as failure to provide it will result in the inability to browse the Site and access the services offered.

PROCESSING METHODS

The data collected from users will be processed both manually and electronically with methods strictly related to the purposes themselves and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data themselves. All data are processed in paper or electronic form and will be kept in such a way that the identification of the user takes place only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, and in any case within the limits of the law. The Controller has adopted specific measures to prevent the possibility of data loss as well as to prevent illegal or unauthorized access.

User data is stored exclusively for the time strictly necessary and in any case not beyond 10 years.

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site entails the acquisition of the sender’s address and any personal information therein. Such data are considered voluntarily provided by the user, with exoneration from any responsibility of the site owner for any inaccuracies.

In case of withdrawal of consent or in the event of opposition to processing, user data will be deleted.

In case of change in user data, it will be his/her responsibility to request updating by sending an email to the address info@eugenioriotto.it

The data are not subject to transfer or disclosure to third parties. They are stored on a server located at the Controller’s registered office. The personal data of users may be made known to employees and/or collaborators of the Controller. These subjects, who are appointed by the Controller as “authorized to process”, will process the data exclusively for the purposes indicated in this notice and in compliance with current legislation. User personal data may be communicated to third parties only if appointed to process personal data on behalf of the Controller as “external data processors”, such as providers of IT services and consultants appointed for the operation of the site or similar consultants.

As a website, the website www.eugenioriotto.it also uses computer systems and log files in which information collected automatically during user visits is stored, and whose transmission is implicit in internet communication protocols. The collected information may include IP addresses (internet protocol address), the type of browser and device parameters used to connect to the site, the ISP (internet service provider) name, date and time of user connection, originating web page, any click count. This information is used for statistical purposes only and in an anonymous and automated form. The data may be used to ascertain any responsibility in case of unlawful or criminal conduct against the site.

USER RIGHTS

The user is informed that it is possible to exercise the rights guaranteed by applicable law, and expressly recognized by Articles 13, paragraph 2, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21 and following of the GDPR, by contacting the Controller at the email address info@eugenioriotto.it. In particular, the user’s rights are: access to data, rectification or erasure of data, limitation of data, withdrawal of consent to processing, objection to processing, data portability, and lodging a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (the Italian Supervisory Authority is the Privacy Guarantor).
